Since graduating from Cornell University in 1972, Paula has been a public school teacher, a stay-at-home mom (earning an MBA while her three children were small), a campaign manager and professional organizer, an academic researcher, and has served on several community boards.
In 1985, Paula traveled to the former Soviet Union with her physician husband as part of a public health tour. As a researcher, she visited Belgium and Israel on green industry trips and traveled to Italy to study social network analysis. Paula has travelled to South Africa, Mexico, France, and Italy as a tourist, and participated in an early GLC exchange program which opened opportunities for her to spend time in Lebanon working with women in politics.
Among her passions are good food, travel, and community.
