America 250-Ohio: Homecoming & Picnic at the Toledo Museum of Art

Toledo throws a statewide-style homecoming on the Glass Pavilion lawn, celebrating America's 250th birthday and the Toledo Museum of Art's own 125th anniversary in one afternoon. Expect live music from Chavar Dontae & Ensemble, Great Lakes balladeer Russ Franzen, and Mike Williams on sax, plus glassblowing demos, historical interpreters, hands-on art activities, and food trucks. Free and family-friendly, and a genuinely rare double anniversary. Bring a blanket and make an afternoon of it. Hosted by the Toledo Museum of Art.
