Jeep turns 85, and Toledo stopped the line to mark it
Stellantis shut down assembly, a rare move, so the workforce could celebrate.
Jeep marked its 85th anniversary at the Toledo Assembly Complex, where Stellantis and UAW leaders gathered with the workforce. Assembly lines were shut down for the event, which almost never happens. Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa told employees that great brands do not happen alone, they happen because of the people building them.
