UToledo researchers monitor harmful algae blooms on Lake Erie

Researchers from the University of Toledo's Lake Erie Center joined journalists to conduct field monitoring of a harmful algal bloom in late August. The ongoing fieldwork contributes to understanding and tracking the extent and toxicity of seasonal algae blooms affecting the Great Lakes region.
