BG driver and construction worker injured in crash on Ohio Turnpike in Wood County

The Swanton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an injury crash that occurred in the westbound lanes of the Ohio Turnpike, near Interstate 280 in Lake Township. The crash occurred today (Oct. 14) at approximately 1:36 a.m. The preliminary investigation revealed that a Chevrolet Silverado, operated by Johnathan Tefft, 23, of Bowling Green, was pulling into the traffic lane from an active work zone when his vehicle was struck by a Volvo tractor-trailer, operated by William Manning, 35, of Bedford.
