PROVIDENCE, Ohio (WTVG) - Metroparks Toledo is hosting its Ghosts of Providence tours this weekend at Providence Metropark, highlighting ghost stories tied to the area. “It’s eerie, it’s creepy. It’s not haunted house-y, but you might leave with maybe a couple jitters,” said Jodie McFarland, canal experience coordinator for Metroparks Toledo, McFarland said the tours are a decades-old tradition. For two days, people can join him for a lantern-lit walk at Providence Metropark. Visitors will also hear stories of people McFarland said met an untimely end long ago.
